Wells Mountain Foundation Scholarships 2024 – Apply Now

The Wells Mountain Foundation provides undergraduate scholarships to citizens of developing nations as part of the Empowerment Through Education (ETE) initiative, enabling them to complete their studies in their native country or a nearby country.

ETE scholarships are granted to undergraduate students and are valued at $300 to USD 3000 annually. Scholarships frequently consist of $1500. A variety of expenses, including tuition, fees, books, and supplies, as well as accommodation and board, can be covered by scholarships.

Qualifications:

A student from a developing nation who possesses the following qualities is the optimal applicant for the WMF, irrespective of gender:

  • Completed secondary school successfully and received good to excellent marks;
  • Plans to pursue further education in their home country or another developing nation.
  • Is pursuing a bachelor’s degree or diploma for the first time;
  • Will be enrolled in a program of study that will benefit the community and/or contribute to the ongoing growth and advancement of his or her home country;
  • Has pledged to give back to the community by volunteering before applying;
  • They may have some additional funds available for their education, but they will not be able to pursue their tertiary degree without financial assistance.

Applications for the forthcoming academic year must be submitted by March 1st of each year. WMI Scholars are selected through a comprehensive, multi-step review process. The selected WMI Scholars will receive an email on August 1. Furthermore, their identities will be displayed on the homepage of our website with the WMI Facebook page. Those who are not selected will also receive notification after August.
