Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and building codes to create accurate layouts.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roofing structures.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install structures such as windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and fasteners.
- Repair, renovate, and maintain wooden structures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Operate computerized inventory record-keeping and material reordering systems.
- Mentor and supervise apprentices as needed.
- Estimate material costs and labor for projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
