The urgent climate crisis necessitates innovative solutions from all industries. In response to this urgency, Deloitte is delighted to announce the Deloitte One Young World Scholarships.

Urgent action is necessary in response to the climate crisis, as demonstrated by the most recent IPCC report. In order to address climate change and adhere to the Paris Agreement, it is imperative to develop innovative and collaborative solutions. In order to empower future generations, it is imperative to simultaneously invest in education and skills. However, millions of people are unable to acquire the foundational knowledge and skills required for success due to worldwide educational inequities.

At Deloitte, we acknowledge that we must cultivate a sustainable future in which every individual can thrive. By 2030, we aim to address climate change on a global scale and impact the lives of 100 million individuals through initiatives such as WorldClass and WorldClimate.

Five exceptional young leaders will be sponsored by Deloitte, a dedicated One Young World partner, to attend the summit in Montreal. The scholarships are designed for progressive leaders who are dedicated to enhancing access to opportunities, skills, and education worldwide or mitigating climate change.

Applicants are encouraged to submit an application if they can demonstrate a dedication to promoting educational equity, building resilience, supporting climate action, or reducing carbon emissions. Scholars who have been selected will have complete access to the summit, which includes lodging and transportation. This will allow them to engage in influential discussions and establish connections.

Deloitte continues to provide engagement and mentorship opportunities to the next generation of leaders beyond the Summit. We collectively resolved to effect substantial change and ensure a sustainable, inclusive future for all.
