Entrance scholarships

Upon admission to Memorial University, international students are eligible to apply for and, if funds are available, receive scholarships and awards. If you meet the criteria, you will be promptly considered for an admission scholarship; however, this does not ensure that you will receive one. In other words, no additional application is necessary.

Scholarships for international admission are awarded for the first year of study and are not renewable. An admission scholarship will be granted exclusively to international transfer students who have transferred fewer than 31 credit hours.

If students are awarded a scholarship, they will be informed.

Newfoundland Memorial University International Entrance Scholarship

By a May 2003 Board of Regents decision, Memorial University of Newfoundland instituted these scholarships, which designate a percentage of the tuition costs of international undergraduate students for International Scholarships.
